WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD?
I wanted to choose a school that would have my academic and athletic interests at heart. This is one of the top schools for science majors and it had the perfect coaching/teammates. I am able to put myself on the right career path while working to throw like Matt and Zach.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
It means that I am able to be connected with my classmates outside of class and have school spirit supporting my team on the track. One of the reasons I picked Linfield was to continue my life as a student-athlete because I did not see myself any other way.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
Being both a student and an athlete has made me a better person because I able to control my time better. I have the opportunity to plan my schedules so I can both focus on school and sports. Sports lets me focus on my physical health which in return helps my mental health.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
My goal through this school is to put myself into a position to apply to med school at OHSU. From there I plan to undergo residency for orthopedics before becoming an orthopedic doctor.
