WHY LINFIELD? Everyone seemed nice and down to earth when I visited.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? It means a lot to me. I’m glad I can come here to get an amazing education and have a great athletic experience

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I feel better about myself and competing in sports or just practicing helps put me in a better mood.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I see myself working as a doctor.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? The best class I’ve taken at Linfield so far has been Bioethics. It was an amazing philosophy class that shaped my way of thinking when it came to the medical field.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My friend Bradley Kiltow. Ever since I came here for the scholarship weekend, Bradley was there every step of the way to integrate me into normal school life and adjusting to the demands of being an athlete here.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN? To understand that progress isn’t linear. In track, I hit a wall and felt like my training was pointless and that I wasn’t getting any better. I was frustrated and disappointed in myself. My coach and I talked and found a strategy that best fit me and I started to compete at a higher level.

AS A LINFIELD-STUDENT ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… To be supportive of all my teammates. I don’t want to lead the team per se, but I want to be the one to keep our spirits and team morale high. I want to push everyone to compete at their highest level and feel satisfied with their results.
