WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete has always been a part of who I am. Athletics has been a part of my daily routine since elementary school, this is just the next step in my progression.
WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? 2D Design, in this class I was able to discover my interest in creating art with purpose. Which lead to my choice of majoring in digital art.
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My brother has always been my biggest inspiration in my life. I have always followed in his footsteps. His interests became my interests, his hobbies became my hobbies. He has taught me so much in life. The most important thing he has taught me is to always do what makes you happy and never settle for anything less.
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... To always be there for those around you because they will always be there for you. Everyone is here to get better and building upon each other is one of the most important steps to getting better.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I have not reached my full potential, I am ready and eager to learn, and I love being a part of a team.
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... My individual goals are to my best in my events to help my team at the conference championships.
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is getting a degree in mechanical engineering. Linfield is giving me the building blocks to achieve my goals.
