Laura Lovell is in her ninth year as a member of the Linfield track and field coaching staff.
Competing as Laura Sibley, she was a national competitor in the 400 hurdlers during a highly successful four-year career that culminated with a trip to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Marietta, Ohio. In addition to the 400 hurdles, where she ranks third on the Linfield top-10 list, Lovell competed in both relay events and the heptathlon.
She graduated from Linfield in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in management while adding minors in coaching and studio art. In 2020, she entered a master’s degree program in integrative health studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Lovell is certified by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as a sprint, hurdles and relay event specialist.
She and her husband, Josh, live on their hobby farm outside of McMinnville.
