WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because it had a good swim team, and it was also small with a good science program.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means everything to me. I have always dreamed of becoming an athlete at the college level and not just a small-town swimmer.

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I had the ability to be a three-sport student-athlete at Linfield, but I felt that would take away from my academics, so I picked two.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career goal is becoming a dentist and going to Linfield will help me get a major in biology so I can transfer to Oregon Health & Science University.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN? Best class I have taken has to be microbiology lab. This class was hands on and during the semester we got to grow and experiment with our own bacteria. The bacteria we used was unique based on the environment of our choice.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? The greatest inspiration in my life has to be my Grandpa Don. He is my biggest fan when competing in swimming. He is a busy man, but he always finds time to make it to my swim meets to show support.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… The greatest lesson is to always show good sportsmanship even when things don't go the way you want it to go.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… My goals individually are to break the 50, 100, and 200 breaststroke records. As a team I would like to see as many girls in the A and B final at conference to defend our NWC championship title.
