WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because when I first visited Linfield, I could tell that the community cares a lot about the school. Also, I knew that it would provide me with excellent opportunities for my degree.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? It means that I am able to represent the Wildcats in a positive way and bring even more pride to this school.

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? It is very hard for me to want to give up on something. Whenever I apply myself to an activity, I put all my effort into it because I want to gain as much success from it as possible.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is to be either a strength and conditioning coach or a swim coach; and I believe that Linfield helps me achieve that because every day I am able to gain great skills for my future endeavor and learn how to improve my knowledge.

WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? Exercise Physiology, it was very hands on and is what I want to do in the future.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME… Photography, competing in triathlons and exploring new places with my friends.

THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… Excellence takes time. My first year on the swim team was not how I wanted it to go but I know that if I trust my coaches and trust the work I am putting in that I will eventually reach the goals I have set for myself.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield athletic career was dropping eight seconds in my 500 freestyle at the NWC championships. My first year had been somewhat difficult and I wasn't sure if I could perform well; however, my first race at that meet I proved myself wrong by swimming a best time in that event for the first time in two years.

WHAT'S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU'VE TAKEN? Kinesiology. Being able to learn various topics that apply to my passions and interests was very fun.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My sister. Growing up I always wanted to be like her because she worked hard and excelled in everything she did both athletically and academically.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I'VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... Trust the process.

AS A LINFIELD-STUDENT ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... To compete together as a unit.
