WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because I wanted to go to a smaller school and be able to get the one on one education that is provided here at Linfield.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means that you not only get to represent your school, but also the education, the values of us and our school. It means much more than just playing a sport, its having a community of people who support us, both in the field and in the classroom.

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I started swimming about three years ago. It was actually an accident because I was told by a senior (my freshman year) about aquatic fitness. Without thinking of it twice, I enrolled in the course and it wasn't until I went to class that I found out it was pure swimming. Here I am thinking "oh, what did I get myself into." I didn't know how to swim and so my goal was to learn how to swim. At the end of the term, I was able to swim a lap. From there, coach asked me to join the swim team and I have been swimming since then.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? What I aspire to achieve here at Linfield would be getting a well-rounded education. The courses I am currently enrolled in have allowed me to see different aspects and points of view of our society, culture, and environment.
