WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because when I visited it everyone welcomed me with open arms. Before visiting colleges, I was very nervous and unsure about where to go. After visiting Linfield, and meeting some of the swim team, I was very confident that Linfield would be my future home for four years.
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete at Linfield means a lot to me. Not only does it mean competitively swimming on a team, but it also means having a support system. My teammates are some of my closest friends, and I can count on them. Similarly, being a student athlete keeps me in check academically. I am much better at time management and swimming gives me a mental break from academics.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I think what makes me interesting or unique as a student athlete is my multiple involvements here at Linfield. Not only am I a swimmer but also am a Chemistry Major involved in sorority life (ZTA, panhellenic delegate), Pi Mu Epsilon, and Alpha Lambda Delta.
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus right now is continuing my education in graduate school for organic chemistry. Linfield has helped me achieve this goal since my freshman year. Research opportunities, guidance from the chemistry department, and the ongoing support Linfield gives has opened my eyes to what I want to peruse after undergraduate school and it has given me the tools to do so.
