WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the small-town atmosphere, swimming program and the small class sizes.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete at Linfield means that my hard work throughout high school is paying off because I get to keep learning and have fun swimming.

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I overcame shoulder surgery my junior year to continue swimming.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is to be an engineer and Linfield is helping me get there with an applied physics degree.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN? The best class I’ve taken was Jan Term Calculus II. The pace and new math concepts we learned everyday was like solving a daily puzzle.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? The greatest inspiration in my life is my mom…

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… The greatest lesson I’ve learned is that goals that seem impossible really are not too bad if you work hard at them.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… My individual goals for the season are to win the mile, 400IM and 500free at conference, and put my self one step closer to nationals and some school records. For the team I just want to see everyone improve and hopefully see the women defend their title!
