WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because it just felt like home. I love the beautiful campus, small class sizes, and family like atmosphere.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student athlete at Linfield means that I can still excel in the classroom as well as in the pool. It’s nice to be able to have that balance with school and sports.

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? Not only am I a full-time student, I am a record holder in the 200 fly. It is very important to me to maintain excellent grades, but also compete at the highest levels. I also work two jobs in order to help continue my education here at Linfield. Time management has become critical in my pursuit of an excellent education, swimming competitively, and working both jobs.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is to work in property management, get CPA certified, and get a master’s in business. Linfield does an amazing job at preparing students in the business department to get jobs and succeed in their career paths.

WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best class I have at Linfield was any of the classes with Larry Doty, because he is by far the funniest professor on campus.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME…Hanging out with friends and exploring the beauty that Oregon has to offer.

THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…Time management.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield athletic career was breaking the 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly school records.
