WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because I really wanted to pursue my interests and my passion at the same time (psychology & swimming). Linfield offered both those things along with the chance to meet new people and gain some insights from others.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means responsibility, effort and motivation really stand out from being a student athlete. In addition, being a student athlete asks for a lot of focus, hard work and multitasking (occasionally).

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? Although my height doesn't show it, I can be pretty speedy. I like to be competitive in a way that I help myself and my teammates and I like to encourage others and also give advice (in a friendly matter).

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is to hopefully gain a job and be surrounded with friends and family. Linfield has lot of opportunities for me to seek through and search for ways to reach for that goal.

WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best class I have at Linfield was Family Secrets, because it inspires me to be not afraid about where I come from and to be proud of the result I have become.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME…Eating or painting, both things keep calm and stressed free from everything around me.

THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…Sportsmanship matters greatly and what builds a team as a united family. It is also a way to be at good terms when it comes to competing against opposing teams.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield athletic career was swimming the 1650 freestyle at the NWC championships. Although I had not swam in it all of my first season nor did I attempt to practice it during training, I managed to pull it off in the end.
