WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because it is very close to home and it’s the best swim program in the state of Oregon so there was no way I was picking anywhere else.
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means having an automatic group of friends and helps for the future being able to do multiple things and balance a schedule.
 
WHAT’S THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD AND WHY? The best class I’ve taken at Linfield so far has got to be my INQS class, pirate seas. As much as I was hoping it was gonna be easy and just discuss the Pirates of the Caribbean movies it was everything but that. I got to learn about the law of the sea and basically how to steal a yacht and get away with it so that’s where I will be after graduation.
 
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? Picking just one is hard. Both my parents have been the greatest inspirations to my life, they both come from different backgrounds of growing up and different experiences. They both had successful careers one in nursing and one in masonry. With being in college it’s hard to know what I want to do in the future, so it’s always comforting to know that no matter where I am in life or what I am doing, my dad told me I can always come home. Having that family aspect and support system behind you no matter what is something I wish everyone could have. If I’m lucky enough I hope to be as successful in my life as they were in theirs, or at least beat out one of my brothers.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I am not sure how I could manage to do school work and not do a sport, its unnatural to me to not be doing something athletic to take my mind off the classroom.
 
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... The greatest lesson I have learned while competing at Linfield is that time is short and things happen so might as well make the best of it.
 
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... To have fun and to not have any regrets and to push Kyle Kimball into the pool.
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I want to go to law school and Linfield is going to help get me there by allowing me to get a degree in business to apply to law school and then learn how to build and manage my future business.
