What are the Reasons You Chose to Attend Linfield? I chose Linfield University because it has great academic offerings and a beautiful campus. I like how small the town feels and how close the people are to each other. The teachers are very knowledgeable and want their students to do well. As soon as I met the coaches and the rest of the Swim team, I knew it was the perfect fit for me. I was looking for a college sports program that showed how dedicated and passionate the team was. I was excited to join a team of players who cared so much about each other and helped each other out. I was excited to start training with them and see what we could accomplish together.

What Does Being A Student-Athlete at Linfield Mean to You? Being an student athlete in school has taught me a level of dedication and teamwork that I never thought was possible. Swimming has always been a favorite sport of mine, but I know that being on this team will make my love for the sport even stronger. I'm grateful for the friendships and memories I've made with other people through sports. Swimming is a remarkable discipline in which you not only compete against yourself and your own times, but also as a team. So much of my best self has come out because of it, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

How Has Participating in Sports Made You a Better Person? I am now more determined and focused than l ever was before, whether I am swimming or at the archery range. Athletics have taught me a lot about how to keep going even when things get hard and how to keep growing. I've learned to push myself past my limits and keep giving myself new challenges thanks to sports. Sports have taught me how to set goals, time management, and teamwork. Playing team sports has taught me the value of being a great teammate. Sports have taught me invaluable lessons that will accompany me throughout my life.

Where Do You See Yourself In 10 Years? In ten years, I plan to have accomplished all of my aspirations. Success is within my reach if I am committed and work hard enough. In my profession, I will be conducting groundbreaking research and will have obtained my doctorate in biology. I intend to leave a lasting imprint on the scientific world by expanding our understanding of marine biology and making important contributions to the field as a whole. My goal in life is to use my career to have a positive impact on society. I plan to marry, start a family, and travel the world to study various marine environments and new species.
