\r\n One of the most dedicated and driven players in the program…the consummate team player - brings her love for the game to practice everyday...a mentally tough hitter who has a knack for coming up with the clutch hit and battling pitchers into deep counts…spending a lot of time at first base during the pre-season and should see the bulk of the action there to start the season…also a skilled catcher who will provide the ‘Cats with quality depth behind the plate…two-year letterwinner…voted 2nd team all-NWC after hitting .337 with 5 home runs and 23 RBIs as a sophomore in 2010…received the team’s 2009 “As One” award as most outstanding teammate...named honorable mention all-NWC as a DH/Utility after batting .341 with 4 doubles during freshmen season…elementary education major…earned five varsity letters in softball and volleyball at Corvallis High School…four-time all-league catcher for the Spartans softball team…two-year team captain…earned first team all-state recognition as a senior in 2008 when she hit .513 and allowed only two steals all season…member of the Oregon 18 Gold club team that placed 22nd in the nation in 2007.
