versatile player with the ability to play outfield, catch, and hit…seen solid improvement in her swing during pre-season drills and should see increased production at the plate this season…competing for playing time behind the plate and in left field for the ‘Cats….also a talented baserunner who could help the team in key pinch-running situations…highlight of 2007 season was the 2-for-4 hitting performance in come-from-behind win against Puget Sound in which she hit both a game tying two-run home run in the sixth inning and game winning double in the bottom of the eighth inning…earned second team all-NWC honors and was voted as the team’s Rookie of the Year in 2007…started 41 of 52 games, hitting .309...hit four doubles, one triple and one home run…also stole eight bases…majoring in elementary education…four-year softball letterwinner at Molalla High School…two-time first team all-Capital Conference shortstop…also earned second team all-league honors as a catcher…honorable mention all-state shortstop…set a school record with a .448 batting average as a junior…also stole a school-record 32 bases.
