WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD?
I chose Linfield because of its highly regarded nursing program, which aligns perfectly with my academic and career goals. Additionally, Linfield provides the unique opportunity to continue participating in the sports I’m passionate about at the collegiate level. The generous scholarship package I received was also a significant factor, as it allows me to pursue a quality education while reducing the financial burden.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
Being a student-athlete means I will need to balance both academic and athletic responsibilities with dedication and discipline. It’s about pushing myself to grow not only in my sport, but also in the classroom and as a person. Wrestling for Linfield University gives me the opportunity to represent my school with pride, build strong relationships with teammates, and develop leadership and time management skills that will benefit me long after college. To me, being a student athlete is a privilege.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
I am a very active person, so sports have helped me stay focused and disciplined. They’ve taught me the value of hard work, commitment, and perseverance, both on and off the mat/field. Sports have given me a drive to be the best in all that I do, whether it's in the classroom, in competition, or in everyday life. They've also helped me develop strong leadership and teamwork skills and taught me how to handle both success and setbacks with resilience and a positive attitude.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
In 10 years, I hope to have built a fulfilling and successful career that allows me to support myself and my family. I aim to be financially stable and working in a field I’m passionate about, where I can continue to grow both personally and professionally. I also hope to have started a family of my own, while making time to travel and experience new places and cultures before fully settling down.
