Alyssa Lampe is in her fourth year as assistant wrestling coach at Linfield University.
An accomplished amateur wrestler, Lampe comes to Linfield with an impressive list of credentials. She is a four-time U.S. Open individual champion in 2010, 2013, 2014 and 2019, and twice was a bronze medalist in international competition in 2012 and 2013.
A member of the U.S. national team for a total of six years, Lampe remains in contention for a spot on the U.S. Olympic team as it prepares for the 2024 Summer Games.
In 2013, she was chosen as USAW’s “Women’s Wrestler of the Year” by her peers and coaches and was selected as the U.S. Open’s “Outstanding Wrestler” in 2013 and 2019.
Lampe’s coaching experience includes providing technical coaching for the Wisconsin and Wayland Baptist University team camps.
