WHY LINFIELD?
I chose Linfield because I knew with a smaller school I would be able to make closer connections with my professors and my classmates. The campus is also stunning, and I’ve had great experiences with everyone I’ve met so far.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
Being a student-athlete to me means that I get a built-in family. I’m looking forward to all the memories I get to make with all my teammates. I’m so lucky that I got to go to such a great school for both academics and athletics.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? Participating in sports has made me a better person because it teaches communication and problem solving. You’re not always going to like everybody that you play with or against and that’s okay. As long as you have the ability to talk and have open communication, you can work with anyone. Sports teach that as well as perseverance and accountability.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
In 10 years, I see myself working and having my own apartment. Hopefully I’m coaching on the side and still playing in fun tournaments. And I 100% want a pet of some kind.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY?
The best class I ever took at Linfield was The Supreme Court with Dr. Barklis. It was a really interesting class full of current events and lively discussions. Dr. Barklis creates a wonderful learning environment for his students.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
The greatest inspiration in my life is probably my sister, she has shown such perseverance through everything and still manages to be kind in every moment. I've learned a lot from her, and she has shaped me as a person.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I'VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…
The greatest principle I've learned while competing in Linfield athletics is grit. When things get rough, if you hang on, give your best, and support your teammates, everything will work itself out.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE…
As a student athlete, my goal is to maintain my GPA and elevate my play this season. For my team, it's been a long time since Linfield volleyball has made it into the post-season tournament so I would love to see that happen this year.
