WHY LINFIELD?
I am in love with the campus environment and location. Linfield has an amazing biomedical program, and I have the opportunity to play the sport that I love.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
I am dedicated to both my education and my athletics. However, I am fully aware that my education comes first, and I am prepared to make it my number one priority.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
Sports has given me a purpose and a true passion. I enjoy playing volleyball competitively and for fun. I have bonded with so many people and created lifelong friendships. Being a part of a team has taught me about teamwork, dedication, reliability, respect and countless more lessons. I am so thankful for every sports team and coach I have ever been a part of.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
In the next 10 years, I will be in my second or third year of residency. I am planning to study to be an obstetrician and go through medical school. I would love to have a family of my own and a house. I am dedicated to making my dreams come true and I’m positive I will.

WHAT'S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU'VE TAKEN AND WHY?
Environmental Ethics. I learned so much about ethics and how the world functions around a dominant society. I also loved the professor due to his dedication to the course and each student's comprehension of the material.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
My mom has been a huge motivator in my life. She has worked so hard throughout her whole life to be as successful as she is. She has taught me that hard work and determination is enough to make a dream come true. She pushed me to chase every dream I have and to never let up.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I'VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN...
Being a good teammate doesn’t require playing time. Encouraging and pushing your teammates from the sidelines and in practice can be more beneficial and successful for the team. The team's success comes before all else.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE...
My collective goal for the team is to be as successful as possible. I believe we have the ability to rise above any challenge as long as we approach it as a unit. My personal academic goals are to maintain a high GPA, build my knowledge in all subjects, and advance my skills in research. I am planning to attend medical school post-graduation. Athletically, I am hoping for a highly successful season post injury. I want to be a consistent hard-working player that elevates my team.
