WHY LINFIELD? I chose to attend Linfield because I liked the idea of a small college far away from home. I wanted to go somewhere that would be a completely new experience and different from my high school peers.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means dedicating time and effort into both your sport and the team. This means putting in the personal effort to improve and also to uplift your teammates.

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I am joining the tennis team as a senior, which makes me somewhat unique and I hope I can be a good role model for my younger teammates.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is going into journalism or strategic communications. Linfield is perfect for this goal because there are many options for career development such as internships, job-shadowing and of course the senior capstone project.

WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best class I have taken at Linfield is Intro to a Media World.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME…Hiking, camping, cooking, socializing and gaming.
