WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the opportunities that it provides. I was looking to attend a small school with good academics and to be a part of a program with great coaching staff and teammates.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? I think with the opportunity to have not only students with similar interests but close teammates around me is gratifying. There is a big honor in being able to represent the school and team.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? As a student-athlete, I believe where I am unique is in how I will manage my time between both athletics and academics. I feel that I am very motivated to succeed.
WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? Principles of economics was the best class I’ve taken because it is what made me change my major into economics. That class was not only interesting but challenged me to succeed, like every good class should. Shout out to Randy Grant.
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My greatest inspiration in my life have been my teammates around me. My teammates have influenced me to become better everyday due to the competitive atmosphere; I’m truly grateful.
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN? Time is the greatest investment. If you want to succeed in something, you have to put time in and work for it. Not everything in life will be given to you.
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… Success on and off the pitch. To continue to motivate and push each other to the next level. To grow not only individually but collectively as a team.
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I want to focus on business management, and I believe Linfield is helping me achieve this through their outstanding business program.
