WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield to pursue a liberal arts education with a major in exercise science, while also participating in varsity tennis. The sense of community among the tennis team and the coach was also a large part of my decision.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete at Linfield to me means finding a balance between academics and athletics that results in the best possible performance in my sport without any detriment to my academics. It also means being there for my teammates when they need me and embracing them as a second family.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I believe that anything is possible if you believe it is. It doesn't matter where you come from or what skill level you were at when you joined Linfield, because, through hard work, grit, and determination, you can achieve anything.
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus after Linfield is to become a physical therapist and a certified calisthenics instructor. Linfield's exercise science program is preparing me very well for this career path.
