Nine-time letterwinner in football, wrestling and baseball. 
OSAA state wrestling champion in 2015. 
First team all-league on offense and defense in 2017. 
Second team all-state in both football and baseball. 
Holds school record in single season all-purpose yards in football. 
 
PERSONAL 
Majoring in sport management. 
Son of Isaac and Christine Russell. 
 
WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield College because of the culture of excellence that is extremely important to the football program. 
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete at Linfield means being the hardest worker in the room.  

WHAT MAKES YOU AN INTERESTING STUDENT-ATHLETE? I have lived in many states and come from a lot of different backgrounds so I think I can relate with different people. 
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I plan to work for Adidas, particularly in their snowboarding department.  
 
WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY TIME…Surfing or snowboarding. 
 
THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…10 percent of the people do 90 percent of the work no matter where you are. The football program has taught me to be a part of the 10 percent. 
 
WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD ATHLETIC CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield career so far has been the football program itself. Whether it’s games, practice or early morning workouts, I love being around my teammates and working to be the best player I can be.
