WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD?
Linfield remind of a lot of my hometown of Silverton. My first time on campus and at one of the practices I just felt like I was home in Silverton and I loved that feeling. Linfield has a history of being a great football program also having great academic programs as well which I want to win and have great schooling, so Linfield felt like the right place for me to go.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
It means a lot to me because Silverton has had a lot of athletes go to Linfield, so it feels good knowing that I’m following the footsteps of those athletes who went to the same high school as me. Also, it is close to home so my all my family can come out to the games.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
I have been in sports my whole life and it’s has only taught me valuable life lessons. I have gained a strong work ethic, the ability to work well in teams and the ability to be a leader and motivate others.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
I see myself being a firefighter hopefully somewhere close to home and having a house and a family.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY?
Mexican Immigration INQS. It was really interesting to learn more about my culture and how Mexicans came to the U.S.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
My grandma has been my greatest inspiration. She always thinks about everyone else before herself and is willing to help anyone and be there for someone when they need it. She has taught me to care for others and trust the Lord.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…
Preparation is key, whether it’s training to get your body in the best shape or doing the little things right to get your mind ready is key if you want to be better for your team and help with the teams’ success.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE…
My goals is to get faster and stronger, understand the playbook as best as I can, win league, make playoffs, and keep our streak going.
