LYNDEN HIGH SCHOOL
Varsity letterman for the Lions.
All league punter as a senior.
Honorable mention all league at running back and defensive end.
 
PERSONAL
Majoring in exercise science.
Son of Armando and Angel Melendez.
 
WHY LINFIELD?  I chose Linfield because of the tradition at the college. I was interested in the culture of excellence that Linfield offers. The game day atmosphere reminded me of home.
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? It means that you have to play football at an extremely high level while learning skills to be successful in my future career.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU AN INTERESTING STUDENT-ATHLETE? I enjoy cooking.
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? Once I have graduated from Linfield I hope to start my own business.
