WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because the school it self brings a home atmosphere. Everyone is so welcoming and makes you feel like this is a place you belong in. For the athletics programs, its a school that competes and they aren't okay with the bare minimum and always pushing their student-athletes to their full potential every day.
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means that you are always giving a 100 percent no matter if it is in your sport or in the class room. Also, when you put on that uniform you aren't playing or representing yourself, you are doing it for your team and for your school.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I come from two different community colleges, one from being back home and then another one in Arizona to get an opportunity to play at a high level. Going through all that, I made it to a college and have the opportunity to further my softball career with one of the top softball programs in the Northwest Conference.
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus at Linfield is communications, to move forward with becoming a sports reporter. I believe they can help me get a better understanding of what communication is and getting the chance to work with some projects of being live on a radio or the chance to just to see what it is like to be on the big screen.
 
WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? The best class I’ve taken is Gender and Issues in Sports because it showed me a lot that I didn’t know and opened my eyes.
 
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? The greatest inspiration in my life is my family. They’re very supportive of what I do and they’re always there when I need them.
 
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... I’ve learned that in order to be the best in the NWC, we need to make sure we’re working harder than anyone in our conference.
 
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... My goal for the team is to make it further in the postseason than we did last year.
