WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD? I wanted a change of pace from city life and get to experience the beauties of Oregon. I wanted to challenge myself with a great psychology program. I wanted to be a part of a program rooted in success.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU? It is an honor to represent the school as both a student and an athlete. It means that I have an amazing opportunity to continue playing the game I love while receiving a great education.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? Health psychology as it taught me the relationship between physical and mental health.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAVE THEY BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My mom because she has always had a relentless work ethic and put mine and my siblings needs above hers. It has inspired me to work hard and take advantage of every opportunity she has been able to afford me.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? Sports have taught me how to be a team player, how to face adversity, and as a quarterback, how to lead others.

THE GREATEST LESSON OR PRINCIPLE THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… “We train in the dark of the night.” Learning that work can be put in at any hour and that we should be willing to better ourselves for our own sake.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… To be successful and grow in all that I do. I hope to continue my growth as a leader and learner.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? I see myself with a chance to help kids in my shoes. I want to train kids for more than just sports but for life. Coaching them on both the psychological and physical sides of sports.
