WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield for a few reasons: for the incredible academic experience, to have the opportunity to be a part of a winning culture on the football team and surrounding myself with upstanding people.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete at Linfield is important to me because it gives me the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself. It also allows me to be a unique part of the community and experience the school culture from a totally different perspective.

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? When my mom battled cancer my sophomore year, it was a couple of seniors that were there for me, they wouldn't let me get down on myself. That pushed me to be the best that I could be. And ultimately, molded me into the person that I am today. So, what makes me unique as a student athlete isn't my physical ability, it's how I'm willing to be there for others when the times are tough. Just how others were there for me.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My dream is to become an orthopedic surgeon, so obviously Linfield is a great choice because of the awesome biology/pre-med program. However, many places can get you pre-med requirements, but not many have the reputation that Linfield does. In order to achieve such a reputation, you must have a staff that is geared to work as hard as you, to seeing you achieve your dream. That is why Linfield is going to help me become an orthopedic surgeon.
