HEPPNER HIGH SCHOOL
  • Ten-time letter winne in football, basketball and track & field.
  • Three-time all-conference quarterback and defensive back.
  • 2017 second-team all-conference quarterback and defensive back.
  • Two-time all-state defensive back and quarterback.
  • 2019 Eastern Oregon Player of the Year.
  • Went 31-7 through high school career.
  • Track & Field state champion in 4x400 relay.
  • First Oregon 2A-player to participate in the Les Schwab Bowl All Star Game
  • National Honor Society member.
  • Graduated with honors diploma.

Son of Aymee and Robert Wilson.

WHY LINFIELD? "I chose Linfield because it feels like the right place to call home for the next chapter of my life. I really got along with the coaching staff and felt that they cared about me."

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means giving my all in the classroom and on the field. I will represent Linfield as a student-athlete and I plan on representing it very well. 

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I am hungry to win a championship and will push those around me to accomplish that goal.  

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career goal is to become either a strength and conditioning coach or a physical therapist who specializes in helping athletes. Linfield will help me to achieve this goal because it has a great program for exercise science. 

Coach Smith's thoughts: "Jayden is a very talented multi-sport athlete, and we are very excited to see how he can develop under coach Elliott in our system. Jayden has a tremendous frame and is very explosive in his running and throwing. He is a great competitor and I have no doubt he will be a wonderful contributor to this program."
