Majoring in management and economics.
Son of Rae Ann and Bradley Metcalf.
 
WHY LINFIELD?  I wanted to attend a school in Oregon and play football. I felt that Linfield had the best education and athletics for me.
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? It means that you have to be independent and motivated on and off the field. It also means you have no time to slack off.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU AN INTERESTING STUDENT-ATHLETE? On and off the field I am always performing my best in all aspects. During football season I make sure to stay on top of my classwork and balance football with it.
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is to get a degree in business management to eventually take over a business. Linfield is going to help me achieve it by providing the correct classes and instructions on how to do so.
 
WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU HAVE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best class I have taken at Linfield was Experimental Economics with Dr. Eric Schuck, this class is a class I believe most students should have to take. I believe most students need to take this class in order to see how an economy is created and the benefits to knowing what makes up an economy.
 
WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY TIME…Meeting new people on campus and exploring the town in McMinnville.
 
THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…Nothing is given for free, I've learned in this past year that you have to seriously put in the work and time to succeed as an athlete here.
 
WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD ATHLETIC CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my athletic career thus far at Linfield has been traveling as a freshman. At Linfield it is not common for freshmen to travel to the away games.
