WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD?
Out of all of the schools in the Northwest Conference and beyond, there is a sense of class and tradition that surrounds the Linfield name. Wanting an excellent political science based education and to be a part of a successful and classy football program, Linfield was the top choice.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
I have grown up with the notion of putting my education before everything else, and to balance both athletics and the classroom is very difficult but prepares you for the realities of life and tests your work ethic.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?Absolutely, without participating in three sports in high school, I don’t believe I would have done as well in the classroom due to the fact of how mentally sports test you. Wrestling especially, being ultimately a game of toughness and grit has helped curb any sort of procrastination or laziness that might occur.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
I see myself with a young family and in a career that I enjoy, investing and using my degree that I obtain from Linfield to the best of my abilities.

WHAT'S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU'VE TAKEN AND WHY?
So far in my education at Linfield, the best class I have taken would be Current Debates in Foreign Policy. In this class, I learned speaking, analytic, and social skills I will carry with me the rest of my professional life.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL?
My greatest inspiration in my life would most definitely be my father, Dan Waggoner. He has taught me the balance of hard-work, compassion, respect, and responsibility that makes a man such as he so great. I will always be grateful for him.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I'VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN...
No matter the trials or tribulations, what matters is if you will get up and get back in the saddle again because that is what defines you.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE...
Lead where I can and am needed to while playing the sport I love, and earn a highly-sought education.
