Phil Rombach is in his 16th year with the Linfield coaching staff, serving as the pass defense coordinator and working hands-on with the linebackers.
He is also the college's strength and conditioning coach. In addition to working with the football program, he provides his expertise in physical fitness and weight training as Linfield's Strength and Conditioning Coach. In 2013, American Football Monthly magazine honored Rombach as its Division III Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year for NCAA Division III.
A four-year football letterman, Rombach was a member of four straight Northwest Conference championship teams and also was a key contributor on the Wildcats' 2004 NCAA Division III national championship club.
He earned honorable mention all-conference recognition as a senior in 2006 and also was selected to receive the team's Defensive Captain Award.
He and his wife, Kristen, live in McMinnville with their two sons, Mack and Ben.
