Longtime high school and college football coach Greg McAnally is serving his 14th season on the Linfield coaching staff. He oversees the running backs.

McAnally has more than 30 years of coaching experience, including 17 as a head coach at the high school level. He previously was head coach at McMinnville High School for 12 years and also spent five seasons in charge of the Central High School program in Independence.

A native of Pendleton, Ore., McAnally completed his bachelor’s degree in business at Oregon State in 1989 and went on to earn his master’s degree in information technology four years later.

He was a three-sports athlete at Pendleton High School, competing in football, basketball and baseball.

McAnally and his wife, Julie, live in McMinnville, and have two grown children.
