Former all-star quarterback Aaron Boehme is serving his 12th season as an assistant football coach for his alma mater. He is in his third year as the Wildcats' co-offensive coordinator and receivers coach.
He oversees Linfield's recruiting outreach, including on-campus visits.
As quarterbacks coach, he guided 2017 graduate Sam Riddle to consecutive All-America seasons, culminating with Riddle's selection as a finalist for the Gagliardi Trophy, honoring the most outstanding player in Division III.
A former quarterback and two-time Northwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year, Boehme is among Linfield’s all-time great quarterbacks. Over his four-year career, he registered the second-highest pass completion percentage, racked up the third-most passing yards and threw for the third-most touchdowns in program history.
During his two years as a starter, the Wildcats went 21-3, won a pair of league titles and advanced to at least the second round of the NCAA Division III playoffs. He was chosen as the team’s most valuable player in 2009 and was the co-MVP in 2010. Boehme was also honored as the 2010 Ad Rutschman Small College Athlete of the Year as part of the Oregon Sports Awards program.
He and his wife, Angelica, live in McMinnville with their son, Huston, and daughter, Elliott.
