Outstanding passer and elusive runner…tremendous potential…went into the 2008 season as the established starter, but was sidelined after a hard hit in the opening game at Hardin-Simmons…had connected on 8 of 13 passes against the nationally ranked Cowboys to that point… two-year letterwinner…completed 19 of 27 passes with 6 TDs and no interceptions as a reserve sophomore in ‘07…took limited snaps as the third-string quarterback in 2006…majoring in mathematics...lettered nine times in football, basketball, baseball and track at Stanwood High School…first team all-state defensive back and second team all-league quarterback...first team all-league punter...football and basketball team captain...voted defensive football player of the year…set SHS single-season records for most touchdown passes (15) and solo tackles (68)…member of Stanwood’s 2005 Wesco North Conference championship team…competed in four events as a member of the Spartans’ track team.
