Biography

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Majoring in Nursing.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? Anatomy. I took anatomy spring semester my freshman year. This was a class where I had to memorize an extensive amount of content, which meant placing studying ahead of my personal time. This sparked my study habits and positively altered my productivity in other classes.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? I very much look up to my mom. She provides so much for me and works rigorously to offer the opportunities that I have today. She was able to work her way up to the position she is in now and lay down the groundwork for my sisters and I to succeed. I can’t thank her enough for all that she has gone through in order for me to be in the position I am in today.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… I’m in a female dominated sport which comes with biased opinions from outsiders who believe that we can’t do as much as our peer athletes. This is true, but it is similar to the way that athletes in other sports can’t do the same activities as us. Athletes stretch and strengthen different muscles that are specific to their sport. I learned that comparing athletes and athletic styles is problematic and unnecessary.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… I want to compete. We haven’t been able to since we are newly introduced athletic program. I hope to see us compete soon.
