WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the small classes and the friendly faculty.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means working hard and encouraging my teammates.

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I am interesting because I like running.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is to work as a teacher and going to graduate school after Linfield.

WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU HAVE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? Survey of Psychology with Dr. Ray. We did several in-class experiments and activities to demonstrate different theories, which made the class really engaging and memorable.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO…Hike, read, eat and spend time with family & friends.

THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD IS…Patience is key. I’ve battled through injury rehab for the past year and a half without knowing when I’d be able to compete again. Learning that commitment without knowing when it would pay off has helped me work through the COVID-19 pandemic.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD ATHLETIC CAREER THUS FAR? Seeing my teammates break the 20-minute mark in the 5K for the first time, their excitement and joy has helped to remind me why we put in so much hard work.
