WHY LINFIELD? I chose to attend Linfield so that I would be able to continue my cross-country career, as well as focus on my academics.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a Linfield student-athlete means constantly being supported and supporting others, not just with your teammates but with your classmates.

WHAT MAKES YOU AN INTERESTING STUDENT-ATHLETE? This year I am a peer facilitator on The Body Project, which helps give women a safe environment to talk about body issues. A lot of these issues are prevalent in female distance runners and with this I am able to help my team stay body positive.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is going into Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Linfield helps me by having an amazing Psychology department that offers all kinds of interesting classes and internship opportunities, as well as the Business Department offering lots of classes related to the I/O part of psychology.

WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU HAVE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? My favorite class at Linfield was my Jan Term course on history and culture in Spain and Morocco. I learned so much about the different cultures.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO…Read.

THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD IS…Time management.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD ATHLETIC CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield career was going to the regional tournament as a freshman year in California and placing third as a team.
