WHY LINFIELD?
Linfield has a beautiful campus full of wonderful people who are kind and welcoming.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
Being a student-athlete gives me the opportunity to push myself through running and to be a part of a team who enjoys doing the same.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON?
Sports have taught me the joy of hard work and the importance of community.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
I see myself running and enjoying the outdoors while working to support myself.

WHAT’S THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD AND WHY? My favorite class at Linfield so far has been the Interdisciplinary Science and Math Seminar I took last spring. It was a discussion based class and we touched on a lot of great topics, ending with an exploration of imposter syndrome. I really enjoyed hearing about the experiences and perspectives of my professors and my peers.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My greatest inspirations are my parents. They have both been incredibly supportive in everything that I do, encouraging me to make good decisions, work hard, and take care of myself.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… Even though running is largely an individual sport, having supportive teammates around you to build you up and instill confidence in you is invaluable.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… My goals are to build a tight knit and supportive team, work hard and grow as a runner, and uplift younger runners to be safe and healthy as they push themselves to be better.
