WHY LINFIELD? Largely because the cross-country team reached out to me and was very welcoming, and the faculty and admissions staff were very supportive. Also, McMinnville and Linfield are both beautiful places.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU? It is mostly a chance to have fun and challenge myself outside of academics. It gives me something to strive for.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? It has made me better at teamwork gives me a reason to do something for a larger group.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? I don't see myself participating in elite sports, but I will probably keep racing (maybe trail running) for a long time.
