Earned baseball team defensive player of the year in 2018.

Majoring in applied physics with a focus on engineering.
Son of Charlotte and Kelly Kolander.
Served two internships as a project engineer.
Two-time recipient of the Presidents’ List.
 
WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield for the small environment where I could excel in the classroom as well as on the field.
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means putting in the in the classroom and at home so you can do what you love on the field.
 
WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best class I have taken at Linfield was Engineering 310, Graphics and Design. I found this class really interesting because it is something I see myself doing later in my career.
 
WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME…Hanging out with friends.
 
THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…Nothing is given. If you want to be great, you need to put in the work.
 
WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield career thus far was making my first pitching appearance of my career in Texas.
