Biography

PORTLAND CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL 
Four-time letter winner in baseball and basketball, also played football. 
Two-time first-team all-league in baseball. 
Second-team all-league offensive lineman.  
Named Freshman Athlete of the Year.  
Team leader in strikeouts all four years.  
National Honor Society member.  

PERSONAL INFORMATION 
Majoring in sport management.  
Son of Lisa and Jon Helgerson. 

WHY LINFIELD? There were two things that ultimately made me choose Linfield. When I went on my visit and watched the baseball practice I saw how down to business and organized the practice was and I wanted to be part of it. Also, whenever I talk to Coach Brian Valentine on the phone he makes it sound like Linfield really has a plan on how to make me the best baseball player I can be.
