Carl Johnson is in his second year as a member of the Linfield coaching staff.
He works primarily with relief pitchers in the bullpen, overseeing their game day routine and warm-up prior to entering the game and offering useful situational advice.
Johnson helps instruct all players on specific techniques during drills and live situations as well as aiding in the overall development of student-athletes.
He previously served has head baseball coach at Lassen Junior College and Napa Junior College in California.
Johnson pitched collegiately at both the University of Washington and Lassen JC. He was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 11th round of the 1990 amateur draft and played in both the Indians and Detroit Tigers organizations.
When not coaching, Johnson works as the Supervisor of Education at the Federal Corrections Institution in Sheridan.
