Bryn Card enters his first season as assistant baseball coach for the Linfield Wildcats. Card brings a wealth of experience and passion to the program.
Card began coaching in 2010 and has spent over 15 years at the high school level, most notably at Wilsonville High School. Where he accrued a record of 179-87 in his tenure for the Wildcats. Winning 3 League Titles, he was named Coach of the Year in 2022 & 2023. During his 10 years, his teams never finished lower than 2nd in league. Leading the Wildcats to become a prominent top 5A program and hosting multiple Semifinal runs, Card also was heavily involved with Prep Baseball Oregon for the last 6 years.
Known for his dedication to player development and team culture, he has helped shape countless athletes both on and off the field.
Card was a top prospect in Oregon coming out of Henley High School. Being named the Louisville Slugger Player of the Year in 2005, he led the Hornets to back-to-back state championships in 2004 & 2005. Card attended Oregon State following high school, where he was a part of the Beavers back-to-back National Championship teams in 2006 & 2007. He then transferred to University of Utah and was a top starter for three seasons, helping the Utes win three Mountain West Conference Championships.
Outside of baseball, Coach Card is a Special Education Teacher at Wilsonville High School. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelsey, daughter, Delaney and son, Maddux. Whether on the ball fields together or on a family camping trip, his life reflects the same values of teamwork, commitment, and balance that he brings to coaching.
