Brian Valentine is in his sixth year as a member of the Linfield baseball coaching staff. He oversees the program's recruiting outreach while leading the outfielders and managing hitting instruction. He also coordinates the operation of Linfield's periodic skills camps.
A Vancouver, Washington native, Valentine graduated from Skyview High School where he was a two-time all-league player while helping the Storm to the program’s first and only state championship.
Valentine attended and played at Yakima Valley College before transferring to Linfield. He graduated from Linfield with a marketing degree.
He began his coaching career at McMinnville High School where he worked with hitters and infielders. Along with coaching at Linfield, he was a member of the West Coast League's Kelowna Falcons coaching staff in the summer of 2018. Valentine helped guide the Falcons to the West Coast League Championship Series where he primarily worked with hitters.
