Lettered six times in baseball and football at Beaverton High School.
Named first team all-Metro League pitcher as a senior in 2017.
Earned Metro League Honorable mention as a junior in 2016.
Registered a 0.31 ERA where opponents hit .160 against him in 2017.
Named to Oregon 6A North vs. South All-Star roster in 2017.
Beavers team captain as a senior.
 
PERSONAL
Majoring in sport management.
Son of Erin and Grady McRae.
Dean’s list recipient.
Father, Grady, also played baseball at Linfield.
Served an internship with Beynon Sports.
 
WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the great education while still being able to play baseball.
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means that I have worked hard enough in my past to play for a team at a high level in Division III.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I am unique because I wear glasses when I pitch.
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is to work for a sportswear company and Linfield is helping me by connecting with alumni in the sports industry.
 
WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best class I have taken at Linfield was Careers in Sport, a Jan Term class that introduced me to companies in the PNW and San Francisco, where we got to talk with executives at companies and gain industry knowledge.
 
WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY FREE TIME…Watching sports with friends.
 
THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…Everything is earned, not given.
 
WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield career thus far has been relaxing with the pitchers before games.
