WHY LINFIELD? I chose to attend Linfield because it gave me the best chance to continue to play baseball and achieve my bachelor’s degree. I have family in McMinnville, so it gives me the chance to spend more time with them.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete is a huge honor because you get to represent the school and the community both in academics and in sports.
HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? It’s allowed me to see that there are ups and downs in anything you do, whether it’s baseball or everyday life.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I’m able to achieve the highest levels in my academics while having the time and focus to do the same outside of schoolwork.
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is to achieve my bachelor’s degree while also playing baseball as long as I can. Linfield helps me in both regards.
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My parents are my biggest inspirations. Now that I’m older, I understand how much time and effort they put into my life to make sure I had a better future.
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... Understanding that tough times don’t last long, but tough people do.
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... To get better every day and stay mentally tough.
