Member of three-time 4A Women’s Track & Field Team State Champions.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Majoring in nursing.
Daughter of Brenda and Terry Sandstrom.
WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the great nursing program, the campus is a good distance from home, the study abroad programs offer great opportunity, I get to continue throwing for track, and my financial aid package was very generous.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means that I am challenged in the classroom and at practice every day. I have to work hard to balance my studies and time spent for practice, but everywhere I go I will be surrounded by friends.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? As a student-athlete at Linfield my friend group is very diverse. I spend time with my team mates, chem study groups, students in band and theatre, and my wonderful RAs.
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is nursing. Linfield is helping me to become a great registered nurse by offering challenging and inspirational classes that allow me to learn the basics for nursing, but also teach me about the world I'm living in today.
