Son of Rochelle and Kalani Hosaka.
 
WHY LINFIELD? Mostly the academics but it was made clear that I wanted to attend Linfield because of Coach Doug Hire’s loyalty throughout my senior year. During my senior year I ended up snapping my Fibula in our first game. I was heartbroken and thought that my football career was over but Coach Hire was there for me and offered me an opportunity to play for Linfield and I was extremely excited when I committed.
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Education comes before everything else because without education I can't advance in my life and would be stuck in a dead-end job.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I would help others who would not make grades so they can hopefully make it before the deadline.
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My focus is to work for Tesla to achieve a better living environment. I believe that Linfield can help me achieve it with its software engineering program to help me increase my knowledge of engineering and to teach me how to become a programmer.
