WHY LINFIELD? My high school coach is a Linfield alumni and had a lot of good things to say. I went on a visit, and all the staff seemed professional. The members of the cross country and track and field teams seemed like they wanted to be there, so I knew it was a perfect fit.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU? It means to always keep your foot forward ahead of challenges and never give up. It allows me to challenge myself academically and athletically while still keeping my head above water.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? Being a part of a team has made me more outgoing. Sports have also taught me that everyone comes from different backgrounds, and I should respect everyone equally no matter where they come from.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? I see myself using my college degree to work a job I’m happy with and living a life free of worry and full of happiness.
